Summary
DAYO is a Tagalog word that means to go and visit a new and unfamiliar place. This word is used to point to newcomers in a small community. It is also used among basketball enthusiasts to label those who come to their group for a duel.
DAYO wanted to build a mobile app that makes a community for basketball enthusiasts. The team encourages users to share their passion for sports with others. It aims to connect people, let them play basketball together, and rent a court even as a “dayo”.

Create a brand identity that reflects the persona of basketball lovers in the Philippines. Create an impression that the brand can compete with mobile apps internationally.
What we did to help
— Design a logo and determine the overall brand direction for Dayo.
— We started designing the wireframes in preparation for the mobile app’s experience and interface design.
— We designed initial marketing materials for the brand launch.
We had tons of fun drafting logo designs for Dayo because of its rich concept and visual points. The game of basketball has a lot of creative elements that we can turn into a competitive advantage in brand design.
Developing the wireframe was undoubtedly a lot of work, but it helped the team organize all the app screens in design production.

The team completed a full high-fidelity prototype for the mobile app. Alongside this, the team also proposed campaign ideas for the brand launch.

Overall, we’re genuinely proud and fulfilled to see a unique idea come to reality. The production process is long and tedious, and the outcomes reflect the hard work done in the background.
