English Mastery is an online tuition center in Singapore helping secondary students get better grades for the O Level English exam.
We began working with English Mastery in 2018 as a multimedia designer, supporting them with their sales funnel initiatives.
Our role with English Mastery grew in 2022 from being a creative resource to leading their marketing campaigns and spearheading their creative productions.
We provided support in marketing and rebranding for English Mastery as they scale their marketing reach.

In 2018, English Mastery commissioned us to design their various marketing materials such as video sales letters, ebooks, and in-class worksheets.
In 2022, they needed to relaunch its marketing campaigns and get more leads.
What we did to help

Brand Strategy & Mood Board
A successful brand's starting point would always be a clear strategy and good planning. When we were conceptualizing their website and video advertisement content, we gave a lot of focus on how to position the brand as a guide to their customers.
New Website
We led English Mastery's website redesign and conducted the following steps:
- User research
- Analysis of data through a user behavior tool
- Created the initial structure of the site and placed them through a wireframe
- Redesigning website assets
- Staging QA
- Post-launch support and evaluation
Video Ads
We also worked with English Mastery to conceptualize and produce several video ads so they can capture new leads for their upcoming classes. We led the conceptualization, script writing, and video editing. Here's one video ad example:
Brochure Design
English Mastery identified a need to create a marketing initiative for leads who are sending inquiries through WhatsApp. Part of this is sending them a brochure to give an overview about the company, who they are, what they do, and how their services can help them succeed.
Results

Marketing a business and building a brand begins with a clear strategy. Good planning and research make every piece of the initiative work. Communicating a clear message with our client's target audience was of utmost importance in every step we took.
Because of English Mastery’s unique business model, it was important for us that their value propositions were communicated clearly on the website’s messaging. Otherwise, the target audience would get lost or confused. And we know that if we confuse, we lose.
